Our carers are carefully selected for both their professionalism and their genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care. We recognise that they are placed in positions of trust, supporting individuals in their own homes, and we maintain high standards in who we choose to represent Homecare For You.
Every member of our team undergoes a robust recruitment process, including enhanced DBS checks and thorough reference verification, to ensure they are suitable to work with vulnerable individuals. Beyond qualifications, we prioritise individuals who demonstrate compassion, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
All carers complete a structured induction programme aligned with Care Quality Commission standards, covering key areas such as safeguarding, infection control, moving and handling, medication support, dementia care, nutrition and health and safety. Ongoing training ensures skills remain current and responsive to the needs of the people we support.
We maintain consistent oversight through regular supervisions and annual appraisals, allowing us to support staff development while ensuring care is delivered safely and effectively at all times. Where required, carers also receive specialist training tailored to individual needs, ensuring personalised and appropriate support.
